Delete your account

You can request deletion of your Panapayatt account and associated personal data. This page describes how to do that and what happens when your account is removed.
How to request deletion
Send an email from the address linked to your account (or include your registered phone number) to:
Subject line: Panapayatt account deletion request
Include:
- Your full name
- Your Payatt user code (e.g. PYT-2048), if known
- Phone number or email used to sign in
We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your user profile (name, photo, contact details)
- Authentication credentials and push notification tokens
- Your membership in Payatt books and circles (you will be removed as a participant)
What may be retained
Historical transaction records within a Payatt book may be retained in anonymized or aggregated form so other members' ledgers remain accurate. We do not retain identifiable data longer than necessary for legal or operational requirements.
In-app sign out
Signing out of the app does not delete your account. To fully remove your data, you must submit a deletion request as described above.
