Panapayatt ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Panapayatt mobile application and related services. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

- Account information: Name, phone number, email (via Google sign-in), and a unique Payatt user code (e.g. PYT-2048).
- Profile information: Optional profile photo and display name.
- Payatt data: Payatt books you create or join, member relationships, transactions, balances, and payment approval records within your groups.
- Device information: Push notification tokens (FCM) to deliver alerts you opt into.
- Usage data: Basic app interactions needed to operate and improve the service.
How we use your information
- To authenticate you and maintain your account.
- To operate Payatt books, circle balances, invitations, and payment workflows within groups you join.
- To send push notifications about Payatt activity (e.g. join requests, payment approvals).
- To provide customer support and comply with legal obligations.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. Data is shared only:
- With other members in Payatt books and circles you voluntarily join.
- With service providers that help us run the app (hosting, authentication, push notifications), under contractual obligations.
- When required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Data retention
We retain your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request account deletion — see our account deletion page.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Children
Panapayatt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
